When and where is Harvest Moon Fest held?
Harvest Moon Fest takes place just south of Columbia Falls, Montana, off of 206, near the Silver Bullet at Montana Harvest Moon.
Is Harvest Moon Fest family-friendly?
Yes! The festival is designed for all ages. Kids and families are welcome to join in the fun, explore the craft activities, enjoy live music, take part in the pie raffle, and enjoy the day.
What should I bring with me?
Bring cash or card for vendors, comfortable shoes for walking, and something cozy for the evening music. Montana weather can be unpredictable, so it’s smart to be prepared. If you’re staying into the evening, a blanket is a good idea. We also encourage reusable water bottles to help keep the festival sustainable.

Your ticket to creativity! The Craft Pass gives you access to hands-on workshops throughout the day, where you can craft, play, and take home something special. Vendors & Food
What kind of vendors will be there?
You’ll find a wide variety of artist vendors offering handmade goods such as pottery, jewelry, textiles, art prints, herbal creations, and more. Check out our Artist Vendors page to read bios and see who’s joining us this year.
Is there food and drink available at the festival?
Yes! We will have two local food trucks (Region Sauvage and Fire and Dough) and a bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
Ways to Get Involved
Can I volunteer at the festival?
Yes! Volunteers are essential to making Harvest Moon Fest a success. Each volunteer receives free admission and a drink ticket. Visit our Get Involved page to learn more and sign up.
How can I support the festival if I can’t attend?
You can still be part of the magic by sponsoring the event, donating prizes for the raffle, or contributing a pie for the pie raffle. Every contribution supports The Making Place’s creative programming.
Logistics & Accessibility
Where should I park?
Free parking is available up the driveway to Montana Harvest Moon as well as on our neighbor’s property. Please respect their property. We will have volunteer parking attendants helping to direct traffic when needed. Carpooling is encouraged to reduce congestion. Two ADA parking spaces are available at the top of the driveway.
Is the festival accessible?
We aim to make Harvest Moon Fest welcoming and accessible. Most areas are on flat ground, and we do our best to accommodate guests with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility concerns, please reach out through our Contact page.
Can I bring my dog or pet?
For the safety and comfort of all attendees (and pets), we ask that you leave animals at home unless they are registered service animals.
Where do the proceeds from the festival go?
